A block from my hotel in Los Angeles, they were shooting a movie. I don't remember the name, but it was an action movie, and artists had painted fake bullet holes and cracks all over huge expanses of glass on the office buildings on Figueroa Blvd. downtown, and various vehicles were in position to run into one another. Like all movie sets, action was not the main thing going on–more time and more crew were devoted to waiting than to action, by far. But still it was exciting!
